How We Got Here

Smash Action was created out of a shared frustration: that racket sport players — genuinely passionate, technically minded, deeply invested in their game — were consistently underserved by general sporting goods retail. Our parent company, Spacefoot SAS, had already tackled this problem in Europe through Smash-Expert, a specialist racket sports store that built its following by treating players as the informed, demanding customers they actually are. Smash-Expert didn't talk down to its audience. It met them at their level.

When Himalaya Sport Inc. was established as Spacefoot's American entity, bringing that specialist racket sports approach to the U.S. market was a natural next step. Smash Action is the result — purpose-built for the American racket sports community, backed by years of European expertise.
